01 BMA is a brand new college boasting the latest technologies for IT and up-to-date learning resources. BMA is also expanding. Phase 2 of our building programme saw the opening of BMA's Block B in January 2007 with Block C operational in February 2008. The Sports and Amenities complex is coming up as one of the biggest in South India. Currently there are 18 teaching and learning rooms with state of the art teaching resources. There is a modern and spacious Knowledge Centre, a total of 4 well equipped IT laboratories, seminar rooms and a lecture theatre.
02 The IT laboratories are equipped with the latest computers and up-to-date softwares. The facilities provide 100 workstations from 8.00 a.m. to 8.30 pm from Monday to Sunday. There is a full-time laboratory technician to assist you with the equipment and to ensure that your laboratory time is productive. You will be scheduled some classes in the laboratory and you may also book additional time by the hour for your own studies. In addition, BMA provides a WiFi environment and you are encouraged to use your own laptop computer wherever possible.
03 The Knowledge Centre is also a modern facility with a good book and journal stock as well as substantial CD ROM and on-line subscriptions. As students destined to study an international curriculum you will be expected to keep abreast of current affairs in an international environment and you will have access to print and electronic journals and newspapers to help you with this process. Part of your Study Skills subject will require you to make regular use of the Library and Resource centre at BMA.
04 All full-time students at BMA are residential. You will be housed in separate men/lady apartments near to the college. These are leased and managed by the college and you will make reference to the Manager - Accommodations / Director of Administration should you have any requirements in respect to your accommodation. Strict rules apply to your use of our accommodation facilities. You will be provided with a set of these rules and regulations when you take up occupancy.
05 Catering is provided by BMA for all your meals at the hostels/ campus during weekdays and at weekends. Both vegetarian and non - vegetarian meals are provided to meet all requirements.
06 Transport to and from the campus is also provided at scheduled times during the day.
07 BMA has its own cafeterias. Snacks and lunches are provided at this facility which also serves as a recreational area for students.
08 Office hours at BMA are from 9.00 a.m to 5.30 p.m. Monday to Saturdays. The college is open for students from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays. Executive programmes are also held on Sundays.
