In a way, management education in India is now fifty years old. Management education in India has thrived and prospered and has fed the skill requirements of Indian entrepreneurship. But quality, as opposed to quantity, still remains a problem and the regulatory structure is complicated by the existence of three different institutions (UGC, AICTE, AIU) that dabble in this.
