The University in the academic year 1955-96, entered the field of distance education to cater to the needs of the student community. The programs such as MBA Marketing Management, MBA Financial Management, MBA Foreign Trade and PG Diploma in Software Marketing are some of the very first programs to be launched through Distance mode in the entire Asian continent.

But there is a marked difference between the conventional Distance Education Programs and this Innovative Twinning Program is that instead of the usual ten day Personal Contact Programs the students would undergo a rigorous extended classroom session extending up to a maximum of 120 days.

Message from the Vice-Chancellor

     Vice Chancellor

The Distance Education system has opened the doors for the young people for improving the academic career or reaching to greater heights in their respective professions. The System aims to provide education for those people who lost their opportunity in pursuing their studies and those who recognize the need to improve their qualifications during their professional career. The system made flexible to attract a large number of student communities to its innovative, need based programs matching their needs and affordability.
