Message from the Vice-Chancellor

The Bharathidasan University’s Business Development Centre (BDU-BDC) was conceived with the idea of self- sustenance of Institutes of higher Learning. This would be possible only when the University reaches out and works closely with Industries / Entrepreneurs. The Business Development Centre handles all responsibilities relating to University-Industry R&D, Consultancy Services, Coordination of Off-Campus programmes, Outsourcing Institutional tie-ups, etc., Bharathidasan University has stepped out of its precincts and encourages Institutes of good standing to collaborate with us and to offer our programmes as Off-Campus programmes. This ensures that We are able to broad base ourselves both in terms of geographical reach and in terms of the number and variety of programs that can be offered without having to burden the Infrastructure and Finances of the University. This is a small step taken by the University in achieving its motto of “Creating a Brave New World”.

I am indeed happy that the Bangalore management (BMA), Bengaluru, has joined hands with us in offering Eight Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in Management in Regular and Part-Time / Executive modes. I extend my best wishes to the students of the Off-Campus at Bengaluru and sincerely hope that that it will be an enriching experience for all of you. The University would appreciate suggestions and feedbacks from the students for improvement of the services and systems to make it better and student friendly.
