Industry Institution Interface : Internship... The unique model developed by BMA in building Future Managers
Traditionally Speaking MBA programs place too much emphasis on quantitative and analytical skills and neglect human skills and do little to produce managers who are capable of meeting challenges of global business environment and cope with increasingly diverse workforce.
But today there is growing pressure from industry to make their fresh inductees productive from day one, to reduce the subsequent training costs and get the best fit.
Organizations today are looking for trained professionals and students capable of taking decisions.
Institution and industry, which for long have been operating in separate domains, should inch closer to each other to create synergies. As the constant change in management paradigms, in response to growing complexity of the business environment today have necessitated us to develop the education system to not only contribute skilled human resources to business, but also in various intangible ways.
With this thought process, BMA felt the need to make a difference in molding future managers, to blend the education curriculum along with the most needed practical interface ie.
The Internship Program.
BMA has a rich repertoire of companies which recognize the benefits of offering these opportunities to the students. This allows individual students of BMA to work for 3 months after the completion of academic term of classroom sessions with the best industries in the relevant field of their Specialization during their tenure of study itself, thus exposing both the organization and the student an opportunity to gauge each others compatibility. By the end this tenure of their studies each students of BMA would have rich experience which matches the frequency of the competencies sought after by the employer.
