Pondicherry University
Pondicherry University is an outstanding institution of higher education and is one of the Central Universities in India. Teaching research extension and outreach are the primary functions as seen in all Central Universities.
Pondicherry University is a Central University established by an Act of Parliament No. 53 of 1985
Being a Central University, PU is funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Retailers Association of India (rai)
Retailers' Association of India (rai) is the unified voice of Indian retailers. The country's retailers have come together to form this association and to spearhead the movement of organized retailing and its growth in India. rai is the body that encourages, develops, facilitates and supports retailers to become modern and adopt best practices that will delight customers.
The Post Graduate Program in Retail Management (PGPRM) is a program designed specifically for the ever demanding Retail Industry. The program, designed and certified by the "Retailers' Association of India (rai)" has components most suited for careers in the Retail Industry. The syllabus is up-to-date, and Industry approved.
Twinning Program
Twinning is an innovative educational concept which widens the scope of educational opportunity and access for students.
The twinning concept envisages a tie-up between DDE, Pondicherry University and Bangalore Management Academy, Bangalore. This twinning concept gives a gamut of choices to the student community to learn and assimilate the nitty-gritty of the subjects of the various programs through a well-designed and meticulously executed academic rigor.
The marked difference between the conventional Distance Education programs and this innovative is that the students would undergo a rigorous extended classroom session on all Sundays during the academic year instead of the usual five days Personal Contact Programs.
The curriculum of the programs has been designed in such a way so that the course content is the most up-to-date and stimulates every aspiring manager to enroll. Experienced Faculty from various Universities/Industries is drawn to deliver lectures so that the target audience receives the maximum benefit and derive academic inputs from these Personal Contact.

Eligibility
|
- Minimum qualification - 50% or above from a UGC Recognized Degree
- Accepted Scores for the PGPRM course - CART (Common Admission Retail Test)
- Test dates and venues will be intimated on receipt of the completed applications

| Admission Procedure |
- Download the "BMA-rai Application Form", fill-in your details and dispatch to BMA.
- Accepted Scores for the PGPRM course - CART (Common Admission Retail Test)
- The cost of the Prospectus (PU-MBA and rai PGPRM) along with the application is Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 200/- for the PU-MBA and Rs. 800/- for the rai-PGPRM).
- Courier the DD with the completed "BMA-rai Application Form" to BMA in favour of Bangalore Management Academy, payable at Bangalore.
- Fill-up the application forms completely Attach attested photocopies of Marks Cards - 10th, 12th and Degree.
- Send the application to BMA by Courier / Speedpost.
- BMA will dispatch the Prospectus Pack by courier / speedpost.
- Students have to take-up the CART (Common Admission Retail Test) conducted by rai as a admission criteria for the PGPRM program - Students will be intimated on the dates on the applications being received.
- Selection process will be held at various locations across India. The dates will be announced eventually.

The total cost of the MBA and PGPRM is Rs 3.5 lakh + taxes + Free Netbook

BMA has tie-ups with various banks. Loans are available from virtually every bank and region of India. BMA has specific tie-ups with the following banks - State Bank of Mysore, HDFC, IDBI, ICICI and Credila.
